Yamuna Expressway is a 6-lane wide (expandable to 8) and 165.5 km (102.8 mi) long access-controlled expressway in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is presently India's sixth longest expressway and connects Greater Noida with Agra .
YEIDA City, also known as "Yamuna City", is a new planned city initiative by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) and the third in the Gautam Budh Nagar district, following Noida and Greater Noida. In March 2024, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) finalised and approved the project's funding of about ₹ 20,045 crore (US$2.3 billion), of which 50% will be funded by the Government of India, 30% by the YEIDA and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) and 20% by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

In 2007, Jaypee Infratech Limited (JIL) proposed to build 32,000 [11] housing units and plots after signing an agreement with Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) [12] to collect tolls on the expressway for 36 years and was allotted 25,000 hectares of land in Noida and Greater Noida and near Dankaur.
Jaypee is the engineering and construction company for India's Yamuna Expressway, which opened 9 August 2012. [5] JIL, the group flagship, has an engineering and construction wing which mostly supports Jaypee projects. It also has the largest land bank in India's National Capital Region, i.e., New Delhi.
The buses traverse a circular route covering 13 bus stops, including Botanical Garden Metro station, Great India Place Mall, Amity University, ATS Village in Sector 93A, KPMG, Kondli, Pari Chowk, Parasvnath P3, YEIDA office, Gautam Buddha University, Galgotia University, Dankaur and Sector 22D of the YEIDA area.
