Pennsylvania Route 183 Truck (PA 183 Truck) is a 1.6-mile-long (2.6 km) truck route of PA 183 that bypasses a low-clearance bridge under the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad in Cressona. The truck route follows Wilder Street north and curves to the northwest out of Cressona into North Manheim Township.
From south to north, the freeways that interchange with I-5 include: SR 170 in Sun Valley, SR 118 in Mission Hills, I-405 also in Mission Hills, I-210, in Sylmar, and ultimately the SR 14. The interchange is extremely large, and consists of numerous flyover ramps and two tunnels. Portions of I-5 in the pass reach up to 21 lanes wide.

The road heads into areas of residential and commercial development, where it forms a concurrency with PA 183 Truck, before crossing into the borough of Cressona. PA 901 becomes Sillyman Street and, along with PA 183 Truck, reaches its terminus at an intersection with PA 183, where the road continues south as part of that route. [2] [4]
