The Kenyan Premier League (KPL), officially known as the FKF Premier League, is a professional league for men's football clubs in Kenya.Standing at the top of the Kenyan football league system, the league was formed in 1963 under the Kenya Football Federation but is now controlled by the Football Kenya Federation.
The 2023–24 Kenyan Premier League was the 21st season of the Kenyan Premier League since it began in 2003, and the 61st season of top-division football in Kenya since 1963. The season began on 26 August 2023.
The 2024–25 Kenyan Premier League is the 22nd season of the Kenyan Premier League since it began in 2003, and the 62nd season of top-division football in Kenya since 1963. The season began on 24 August 2024 and is planned to conclude on 22 June 2025.
APS Bomet and Fortune SACCO gained promotion to the Premier League from the 2021–22 National Super League, with Mathare United and Vihiga United being relegated. However, the FKF announced on 9 November 2020 that the results of the 2021–22 Premier League were abandoned due to an ongoing technical dispute with FIFA, and the promotion/relegation from the previous season were canceled.

The Football Kenya Federation (abbreviated as Football Kenya or FKF) is the governing body of football in Kenya. The FKF organizes the Kenyan Premier League, the Kenyan Women's Premier League, FKF Division One, FKF Women Division One and Kenya national football teams. It is headed by Hussein Mohammed. [2]
