Wild Strawberries is a 1957 Swedish drama film written and directed by Ingmar Bergman. The original Swedish title is Smultronstället , which literally means "the wild strawberry patch" but idiomatically signifies a hidden gem of a place, often with personal or sentimental value, and not widely known.

Maud Hansson (5 December 1937 – 1 October 2020) [1] was a Swedish film actress. She appeared in 20 films between 1956 and 1991. [2] Her filmography includes supporting roles in the Ingmar Bergman films The Seventh Seal and Wild Strawberries (both 1957) as well as her portrayal of the slightly naive maid Lina in the Emil of Lönneberga films (1971–1973) based on Astrid Lindgren's books.
He studied first with the Axel Witzanskys theater school from 1949-1950. Later, we worked at Malmö City Theater between 1953 and 1957 under Ingmar Bergman's leadership. [1] He probably remains best-known for his supporting roles in the Bergman films Smiles of a Summer Night (1955) and Wild Strawberries (1957).

Between 1945 and 1973 he wrote music for more than 60 Swedish films, including 18 of the Ingmar Bergman's most famous films, [1] such as The Seventh Seal, Wild Strawberries, Smiles of a Summer Night, The Virgin Spring, and Jan Troell s Pause in the marshland, Here's Your Life and The Emigrants; the last film work in 1971.
