Lewisham College is a further education college in the London Borough of Lewisham, south-east London. It was established in 1990, having previously been known as SELTEC (South East London College of Technology [ 1 ] ) since the early 1970s, which was run by the Inner London Education Authority.
In 2004, the College was awarded Beacon status.The college was the first of its kind to be judged outstanding under the new Ofsted inspection régime. In 2008 St. Luke's College, (formerly St. Mary and St. Joseph's RC School) in Sidcup became part of Christ the King Sixth Form College, being re-opened at Christ the King: St Mary's.
