The Exercise Science program offers two graduate degrees and one undergraduate degree. Our broad spectrum of research includes: environmental physiology, thermoregulation and heat illness, genomics, nutrition and supplementation, cardiovascular regulation, and endocrinology, among others.
The Exercise Science graduate program focuses on training proficient, knowledgeable, and technically experienced leaders in the field of Kinesiology. It specifically develops competency in four distinct areas: academic fluency, scientific proficiency, practical application, and professionalism.

Kinesiology. The Department of Kinesiology offers a Master of Science (M.S.) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science, as well as a M.S. in Athletic Training and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.).
Introduction to biomechanics related to injury and sport. Explores both the statics and dynamics of motion including kinetics and kinematics. Examines biomechanical issues of human movement related to exercise/sport and injury and the biomechanics of different body tissues.
