The Bongos are a power pop band from Hoboken, New Jersey, that emerged from the New York City arts scene, primarily active in the 1980s, led by Richard Barone.With their unique musical style, they were major progenitors of the Hoboken indie-pop community, college radio favorites, and made the leap to national recognition with the advent of MTV.

Janes House, also known as Janes Residence, is a historic home at 1727 Hudson Avenue, on the corner of Hudson Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard, in Hollywood, California. The house predates the area's existing commercial development and is the boulevard's only remaining residential structure.

[2] [3] After the Tourists disbanded in late 1980, [4] guitarist Peet Coombes and Chin began a new project named Acid Drops [5] but this met with little success.
