Dr. Facilier is envious at just how much wealth is owned by Eli "Big Daddy" La Bouff. He decides there must be a way to make himself just as wealthy as Eli. Facilier follows Big Daddy and his daughter, Charlotte La Bouff, into a cafe, where they discuss the arrival of a foreign prince, Prince Naveen.
Tiana agreed to the favor but after he healed Naveen, Facilier used his magic to send him away until Naveen can repay him back. Days later after the coronation, Tiana asks her friends to help guard the kingdom as she prepares to meet her people. However, Regina hangs back and confronts Facilier, who had been hiding behind some curtains.
Forced to auction her items, Princess Tiana seeks help from Dr. Facilier to find a Prince but finds out that it was a ruse, and decides to form a resistance against the King of the realm. As the resistance leader, she recruits Ella, Henry, Regina, and Hook to help their cause. During this time, she meets Prince Naveen but loses him to Dr. Facilier.

Tiana is able to rescue the frog, but Facilier uses his magic to disappear with the ruby.
