East Railay Beach is the docking point for boats arriving from Krabi.East Beach is primarily covered in dense mangroves and is unsuitable for swimming. Khao Phanom Bencha is 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Krabi town and encompasses parts of Krabi, Khao Phanom and Ao Luek districts. [1] The park's area is 31,325 rai ~ 50 square kilometres (19 sq mi) [2] and reaches its highest point at the 1,397 metres (4,580 ft) peak of Khao Phanom Bencha, part of a mountain range running north to south.
