Menominee (/ m ə ˈ n ɒ m ə n i / mə-NOM-ə-nee) is a city and the county seat of Menominee County, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. The population was 8,488 at the 2020 census. July 27, 2005. The Menominee North Pier lighthouse is located in the harbor of Menominee, Michigan. The station was first lit in 1877.
