63°24′S 57°00′W. A small lake which lies 0.3 nautical miles (0.56 km; 0.35 mi) south of Hope Bay and drains by a small stream into Eagle Cove, at the northeast end of Antarctic Peninsula. Discovered and named by the SwedAE, 1901–04, under Nordenskjold. Boeckella is a species of crustacean found in this area.

Hope Bay Aerodrome. Hope Bay Aerodrome (IATA: UZM, TC LID: CHB3) is an aerodrome located near Hope Bay, in the western Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut, Canada. The runway serves Hope Bay Mine site and the gold exploration camps in the area.
Mount Hope Bay is part of the Narragansett Basin, formed as a rift in the Avalon terrane. It is underlaid by sedimentary rocks estimated to be several miles thick. [1] The bay covers an area of about 13 square miles (36 square km), with an average depth of 18.7 feet, [2] although portions of the southern end of the bay are as deep as 74 feet near the Mount Hope Bridge.

Provincial school #38 Presidente Raúl Ricardo Alfonsín (formerly named Julio Argentino Roca) was founded in 1978 and acquired independent status in 1997. It maintains the furthest South Scout troop.

The Tabarin Peninsula (63°32′S 57°0′W) is a peninsula 15 nautical miles (28 km; 17 mi) long and 5 to 12 nautical miles (9.3 to 22.2 km; 5.8 to 13.8 mi) wide, lying south of the trough between Hope Bay and Duse Bay and forming the east extremity of Trinity Peninsula in the Antarctic Peninsula.
