For example, acrobatic break falls, jump/spinning kicks, forms, and meditation have been omitted, along with the removal of weapons such as swords and other weapons which would be impractical and not typically carried in modern society.

Gongkwon Yusul is a modern Korean martial art system founded by Kang Jun in 1996. [citation needed] Its main influences include the martial arts of Hapkido, Hakko-ryu Jujutsu, Judo and Kyuk Too Ki (Korean style Thai Boxing/Shoot Boxing).
