Nubia Technology is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong.Originally established as a wholly owned subsidiary of ZTE in 2012, it became an independent company in 2015 [1] and received a significant investment from Suning Holdings Group and Suning Commerce Group in 2016. [2]
It is an indirect shareholder of listed company ZTE (via ZTE Holdings) as well as the largest shareholder of China Aerospace Times Electronics (SSE: 600879), the second largest shareholder of Shaanxi Aerospace Power Hi-Tech (SSE: 600343). The research institute is a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.
