The BWF Super Series was a series of Grade 2 badminton tournaments, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It was launched on December 14, 2006 and implemented in 2007. [1] Since 2011, the Super Series includes two levels of tournament, Super Series Premier and Super Series.

The Swiss Open (French: Open de Suisse), is an annual badminton tournament held in Switzerland since 1955 and become one of the BWF Super Series tournament began 2007. In 2011 the tournament was dropped down to a Grand Prix Gold event. As of 2023, it is a BWF World Tour Super 300 event.

The Sudirman Cup is teams event. The others – Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300, Super 100, International Challenge, International Series, and Future Series are all individual tournaments. The higher the level of tournament, the larger the prize money and the more ranking points available.
