Skid Row is an American heavy metal band from Toms River, New Jersey.Formed in 1986, the group originally included guitarist Dave "The Snake" Sabo, lead vocalist Matt Fallon, drummer John Ratkowski Jr., bassist Rachel Bolan and guitarist Steve Brotherton (soon replaced by Kurtis Jackson, in turn replaced by Jim Yuhas).
In 1999, Bach released his debut solo album Bring 'Em Bach Alive!, his first release after his departure from Skid Row. Mainly a live album of Bach's Skid Row songs, it also presented five new studio recordings, including the single "Superjerk, Superstar, Supertears". In 2000, Bach began performing in Broadway productions.
The band's debut album Skid Row, released in January 1989, was an instant success. The record went 5× platinum on the strength of three singles: "Youth Gone Wild", "18 and Life" and "I Remember You", the latter two becoming Top 10 hits. Skid Row supported the album by opening for Bon Jovi on their New Jersey tour.

Robert James Affuso (born March 1, 1963) is an American heavy metal drummer best known as a member of the band Skid Row from 1987 to 1996. [1] Affuso is currently the band leader and drummer for Soulsystem, a band he formed while touring with Skid Row in 1992. He also formed an entertainment company Soulsystem Orchestras Inc. in New York.
