Grey Silo Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 2000 and owned by the city of Waterloo, the course is within RIM Park along the Grand River . Designed by Steve Young, [ 1 ] it was the host course of the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic , a 72-hole event on the LPGA Tour , from 2012 to 2014.
In 2015, the tournament moved to Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge, about 18 km south of Grey Silo GC, where it remained for 2016 and 2017. [ 6 ] In 2017, the Manulife LPGA Classic was announced to become Manulife's final tournament as the title sponsor [ 7 ] and a new one was never found.
Key facilities and features include the Manulife Financial Sportsplex and Healthy Living Centre, the heritage Elam Martin farmstead, [1] The Benchwarmer sports bar, and the Grey Silo Golf Course. The eastern edge of the park borders on the Grand River for 1.5 km, and the park grounds have about 7 km (4.3 mi) of asphalt trail loops. [2]

Mineral Mound State Park is a park located on the shores of Lake Barkley in Lyon County, Kentucky, United States. The 541-acre (219 ha) park contains an 18-hole golf course with clubhouse, a boat ramp, fishing pier, and picnicking area. [1] Mineral Mound is named after the mansion of Willis B. Machen, which formerly stood on the property.
