Samuel Jones Tilden (February 9, 1814 – August 4, 1886) was an American politician who served as the 25th governor of New York and was the Democratic nominee in the disputed 1876 United States presidential election.
She performed under her maiden name, Ruza Wenclawska. [4] [2] [5] Wenclawska and Lyons divorced in 1926. The 1930 census lists her as an inmate at the Central Islip State Hospital in New York. She is listed in the New York State Death Index as having died on April 16, 1934, in Islip, NY. [citation needed]
