As of the 2020 United States census , the borough's population was 4,264, [ 9 ] a decrease of 24 (−0.6%) from the 2010 census count of 4,288, [ 18 ] [ 19 ] which in turn reflected a decline of 212 (−4.7%) from the 4,500 counted in the 2000 census .
