College dance squads are like traditional high school squads in that both include competition and performance dance, but there are many differences between the two. For example, a college squad will most likely dance on the sidelines at games or have a specific spot in the stands, but some high school teams will also perform on the sidelines.

The PAC Dance Team at Walden Grove High School in Sahuarita, Ariz., performed an epic dance with an "Avengers" theme at their homecoming pep rally.
Since 2009, the team has been consistently ranked in the top three dance teams in the nation, placing first in the Jazz category in 2014. [2] In 2015, the team placed first in Hip Hop and second in Jazz, while Eisenhower's Junior Varsity Dance Team scored their first national championship with their Pom routine and took third place in Jazz.
