The attack pushes Todoroki out of bounds, resulting in Bakugo being named the winner. Angered, Bakugo still goes after Todoroki, but Midnight stops him. After the match, All Might gives everyone medals. But Bakugo reminds him that his champion refuses the gold medal because he feels this has not proved that he is the best.

In order to win the hearts of the Masegaki Elementary School children, Bakugo, Inasa, Todoroki, and Camie work together under Katsuki's strategy. Present Mic is impressed, saying that at their age he didn't have as much power as they did. Seiji suggests that the reason for their power is possibly due to the "Quirk Singularity doomsday theory".
