The Corvette Moray is a concept car based on the Corvette coupe and designed by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro of Italdesign, commemorating 50 years of the Chevrolet Corvette. It included a 6.0 litre V8 engine, door window half dome, and gull-wing doors hinged at the rear pillar.

The Ramarro uses the chassis from a 1984 C4 Corvette, the same car used to unveil the C4 to the European press at the 1983 Geneva Motor Show. Chevrolet gave Bertone that car to use to build the Ramarro, as well as a port fuel injection V8 engine from the newer 1985 Corvette. [2]
The car is based on a blue 1968 Corvette convertible and the interior was kept stock except for a racing steering wheel. The engine is a 400 hp L-68 427 that came in the base car. In 1992 the car was restored to its original show car specs.

The Sting Ray was also a somewhat lighter Corvette, so acceleration improved despite unchanged horsepower. For the 1963 model year, 21,513 units would be built, which was up 50 percent from the record-setting 1962 version.
