Weber High was the first high school in the district, winning the $300,000 building in 1926 by a vote of 733 to 480. Enrollment has increased substantially with student counts of 6,235 in 1949, 19,234 students in 1969, 25,859 students in 1989, and 30,069 students in 2007. In 2022, Gina Butters was named the superintendent of Weber School District.
In 2017, the Utah State legislature renamed the institution as the Ogden–Weber Technical College. The college is an independent member of the Utah System of Technical Colleges. With an annual enrollment of more than 5,000 students, the college provides technical training in thirty different high-demand programs.
