10 Years is an American alternative metal band formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, lead guitarist Brian Vodinh, rhythm guitarist Matt Wantland, and bassist Chad Grennor.
Using the name Blues Yard they played one show at the Marquee Club supporting the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. Alvin Lee and Leo Lyons again changed their name in 1966 to Ten Years After – in honour of Elvis Presley, [5] one of Lee's idols. [5] (This was ten years after Presley's successful year, 1956).

The band released their self-titled debut album in 1973 and toured with second drummer Paul Burgess, leaving Godley free to share live vocal duties. [2] After three more albums – Sheet Music, The Original Soundtrack and How Dare You! – both Godley and Creme left in November 1976, at which point Burgess became an official member. [3]

The band's lineup remained stable for seven years, before Criss left on May 18, 1980, after an injury and increasing personal tensions. [2] He was replaced by Eric Carr, after Anton Fig filled in for 1979's Dynasty and 1980's Unmasked. [3] Two years later Frehley also left the band.
