The Volusia County Public Works Department, Road and Bridge Division, is responsible for maintaining all of the Volusia County roads. Most of the county roads are city streets or rural roads. There are 1,563 miles (2,515 km) of county roads in Volusia County [1] (though not all have been assigned numbers).

Volusia County (/ v ə ˈ l uː ʃ ə /, və-LOO-shə) is a county located in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Florida between the St. Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean.As of the 2020 census, the county was home to 553,543 people, an increase of 11.9% from the 2010 census.
Santa Cruz County was one of the original counties formed when California was made a state in 1850. Court was first held in the Eagle Hotel, the largest building of the Mission Santa Cruz campus, just south of School Street. [2] The second courthouse was a building on the east side of present-day Emmett Street nearby.

State Road 415 (SR 415) is a north–south route in Central Florida running between State Road 44 in Volusia County and SR 46 in Seminole County.. The road continues north of State Road 44 to U.S. Route 92 (US 92) as County Road 415 (CR 415), Tomoka Farms Road.
