Misamis Oriental's 2nd congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Misamis Oriental. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. [ 3 ]
The approval of Act No. 3537 on November 2, 1929, split the old Misamis Province into Misamis Occidental and Misamis Oriental, and provided each successor province a separate representative in the Philippine Assembly. [4] The new province of Misamis Oriental first elected its own representative in the 1931 elections.

Tower 1 that is currently existing was completed and was opened in 2013, while tower 2 should add for another 216 guest rooms and 36 floors.
