Bristol Mountain, formally known as Bristol Mountain Winter Resort, is a ski resort located in South Bristol, New York, in the Finger Lakes region. [1] It is located 30 miles (48 km) from the center of Rochester, New York , the nearest major city to the resort, and about 10 miles (16 km) from Canandaigua on NY 64 .

The Bristol Mountains are found in the Mojave Desert of California, USA, just west of Mojave National Preserve. The range, which reaches an elevation of 3,874 feet (1,181 m), is located in San Bernardino County , and crosses Interstate 40 between Ludlow and the Granite Mountains .

At an elevation of 2,284 feet (696 m), the mountain is the highest point in Ontario County. [2] It is about 1.25 miles (2.01 km) southwest of the 2,150-foot (660 m) Worden Hill, where Bristol Mountain Ski Resort is.
The southern terminus of the trail is in Bristol, Bucks County. The northern terminus of the trail is in Mountain Top in Luzerne County. Work has begun on extending the trail from Mountain Top—to—Wilkes Barre at Seven Tubs Natural Area. From Mountain Top to White Haven, the trail is locally known as the Black Diamond Trail.
