Mill Creek is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is located between the cities of Everett and Lynnwood , approximately 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Seattle . The city has a population of 20,926 as of the 2020 census .

[1] The CDP comprises an area southeast of the city of Mill Creek that includes many new single-family housing developments as well as the new North Creek High School.
The town of Mill Creek was designed in the 1970s without a downtown, and the Mill Creek Town Center was created to give the town a commercial and social core. After the town adopted a comprehensive plan in 1992, citizens came together to develop plans for a town center, and construction began 10 years later. [3] [4] The complex opened in 2004.
