The table's horizontal scroll doesn't work with this template, so wide tables span outside of the main content area making the entire page wider and requiring you to instead horizontally scroll the entire page. Zooming out to see the entire table makes the headers sticky, but also makes the text smaller and less readable the wider the table is.

The easiest way to insert a new table is to use the editing toolbar that appears when you edit a page (see image above). Clicking the button will open a dialog where you define what you want in your new table. Once you've chosen the number of rows and columns, the wiki markup text for the table is inserted into the article.
The caption for the first table has <br /> tags as a small hack to nudge all three tables to have equally high (in line numbers) captions, for the appearance of tidiness. The three tables I have placed in columns (assuming a wide enough display) using {{Columns-start}}, which should responsively collapse for narrower displays (like phones).
