William Temple Memorial Church is a parish church in Wythenshawe, Manchester, dedicated to the bishop William Temple. It is a Grade II listed building, designed by George Pace in the Modernist style, and built in 1964–1965. [1] It has a pitched roof with dormer windows.

The Temple Church's excellent acoustics have also attracted secular musicians: Sir John Barbirolli recorded a famous performance of the Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis by Ralph Vaughan Williams there in 1962 (at the suggestion of Bernard Herrmann), and Paul Tortelier made his recording of the complete Bach Cello Suites there in April 1982.

Roberts Temple Church of God in Christ was founded by Elder William Roberts in 1916. Its services were held in various Chicago buildings until 1922 when its permanent building was constructed at 4021 S. State Street. [2] The church was initially built as a one-story brick structure. A second story was added in 1927.
