Installation of the MTA:SA server on Windows is easy as pie. Go to the download page and download the installer. Once the installer is downloaded, open it. If you haven't already, download the MTA:SA client from the download page at mtasa.com. Run the installer, for Windows Vista and 7 it is required to run this with administrator rights. (The installer will ask.)
We are pleased to announce that MTA:SA 1.4 is now released! Download 1.4 Windows installer. Download 1.4 Linux server. Once you've installed 1.6, MTA will automatically prompt you to update to a newer version whenever there is an update available, including once we release 1.6 in full - so no need to download and reinstall 1.6 again.
