    I’d like to know the same thing, except the abbreviation stands for the school I’m actually applying to. I used the full name first.</p>. <p>It may depend on the school. For example, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is commonly referred to as Carolina. I think in that instance it would be fine.</p>.

He just described them as business courses, including Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Business Law (no quotations). It might be less formal looking if you did something like that.
