Go to settings and press video and at the top you will see "go fullscreen". Click that.
So for some reason the screen for the whole game can only full screen as a square and not as a rectangle. Anyone know how to fix this?
Have you tried 64-bit tModloader? 64 bit with shitty gpu. Switch the resolution to your native on the game without pressing apply after that press to go full-screen no clue why it's made like that but it is. just do alt + enter. 15 votes, 27 comments. 99K subscribers in the CalamityMod community.
This is super easily fixed. To activate windowed borderless first you go to Documents>My Games>Terraria>tModLoader and open up the config.json file in notepad. Find "Fullscreen" and make sure it says false. Next find "WindowBorderless" and change it to true.
When in windowed mode if you click in the second monitor, Tmodloader stays active/in focus. Windowed mode has the titlebars visible which is less then ideal. The option "Borderless Window" should fix that, but it is not available in the menu. exclusive fullscreen is gone, Microsoft has been killing it for a good 4+ years now.
#Terraria #tmodloader have a look at them. This video tells you how to go full screen in TModLoader. I'm play on a Windows 11.
When I try to full screen the game it crashes and I have tried methods such as changing the resolution but yet it does not work. I have also tried setting the resolution in the config (1920x1080 which is my desktop resolution) but it said it was capped at something like 1920x1200 and then crashes.
When the game is set in actual fullscreen mode (with the setting showing "go Windowed" text), everything works as usual. However, when I try to set it in windowed mode (and the setting shows "go Fullscreen" text), it basically stays in fullscreen.
I can't enable exclusive fullscreen in tmodloader, even if I set "fullscreen" to true and "borderlesswindow" to false in config.json file nothing works. Normal terraria works though. please help me I hate borderless window
I’ve been playing tModLoader in full screen for a while and I recently switched to windowed and now I can’t switch back. The button in settings doesn’t work and even changing it in config still lets my mouse move to another monitor which it didn’t do before. Can anyone help?
Enable the "Borderless Window" option, set your resolution to the size of your monitor (Ex. 1920x1080), then turn Fullscreen off.
Currently, when one goes to "fullscreen" via the button in settings, this leads to the window being resized as windowed borderless- ie it matches screen size. However, the reverse direction of "Go Windowed" doesn't resize the window resolution back down, so one ends up with a window with no controls, despite having 'gone windowed'.
tModLoader is like an API such as the old tConfig and discontinued tAPI. It is literally a mod to make mods. As a developer, you might already know that the Terraria src (source-code) is difficult to deal with for a modder. tModLoader aims to make it far easier for you to create your mod, as well as share your mod for others to use.
Going fullscreen and back doesn't fix it. Messing with things in the config files I could find doesn't fix it. Deleting the current config.json file didn't fix it.
For a while now, my friends screen has been fitted to a small windowed version and it will not scale naturally when she full screens it. She has messed with the UI and zoom scale both in the game and in the games files.
Go to Resolution Tab in the Settings on the Main menu and turn Borderless Window off. You must log in or register to reply here. When I get into the game I'm in fullscreen but the setting says "Go fullscreen" Press it, still fullscreen but now it says "Go windowed" I press that and...
