La Gazzetta dello Sport (Italian: [la ɡadˈdzetta dello ˈspɔrt]; English: "The Sports Gazette") is an Italian daily newspaper dedicated to coverage of various sports. Founded in 1896, it is the most widely read daily newspaper of any type in Italy (in 2018).
Tuttosport was first published on 30 July 1945. Renato Casalbore (who later died in the 1949 Superga air disaster alongside the Grande Torino football squad) founded the newspaper as a bi-weekly. In 1946, it moved to three editions a week, and since 12 March 1951 it has been published daily.

On 8 October 1936 he became the director of the Gazzetta dello Sport and continued until 1943; he was reappointed in 1945. In 1947 he took over the direction of the Corriere dello Sport until 1960 and of Tuttosport from 1960 to 1962, the year in which he died at the age of 67 from an incurable illness. [ 4 ]
