The Northern Virginia Scholastic Hockey League (NVSHL) is a non-affiliated high school and middle school ice hockey league comprising teams from the Northern Virginia Area including Fairfax County, Prince William County, Loudoun County, Arlington County, Stafford County, Fauquier County, and the cities of Manassas and Alexandria.
The Virginia High School League (VHSL) is the principal sanctioning organization for interscholastic athletic competition among public high schools in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The VHSL first sponsored debate and also continues to sponsor state championships in several academic activities.
As a senior, Kelley averaged 15.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, 7.8 blocks, and 2.4 assists per game and was named PacWest Player of the Year. He set the school's career, single-season and single-game records for blocks. [5] Kelley did not qualify to play for most four-year colleges. As a result, he had no NCAA Division I offers out of high school. [4]

In the 2018 ACC tournament, Guy led Virginia to a conference tournament championship, where he averaged 16.7 points per game earning him tournament MVP honors. Prior to the 2018–19 season , Guy was named to the pre-season watchlists for the Jerry West Award , John R. Wooden Award , and for the Naismith College Player of the Year .
The National District was founded in 1993 as part of an attempted realignment of the Northern Region. The charter members of the district were Edison, Mount Vernon, Justice, Wakefield, Washington-Liberty, West Potomac, and Yorktown High Schools. Currently all eight of the member high schools compete at the 6A level in VHSL.

The Northern Virginia Independent Athletic Conference, commonly known as NVIAC, is a Northern Virginia-based athletics league; it includes both high school and middle school teams. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] Founded in 1997, [ 3 ] NVIAC is composed of nine member schools or organizations, [ 4 ] and one provisional member, Dominion Christian School . [ 5 ]
