Okay guys, I now realize you get what you pay for. My ZTE Z723EL (Straight Talk Home Home) box has become utter crap. I need to change boxes if I plan to keep my Straight Talk Home Phone, and my local Walmart is now carrying a new home phone box. Just wondering if anyone has any details? So my...
Now (as of today, July 12, 2020) I see Walmart is selling a new Straight Talk home phone box called Moxee (also known as KonnectOne). The funny thing is, Straight Talk is still selling the ZTEs on their website, both new and refurbished ones. No Moxee brand on their website anywhere. It appears it works on Verizon's system like the Huawei and ZTE.
Currently, you can get a wireless home phone device for free from AT&T if you sign a two-year contract. The unlimited nationwide calling is $20/month. Not as cheap as the $15/month Straight Talk plan, but that's not available since CDMA doesn't work at your location.
The ZTE home phone device is available on Straight Talk's website for $49.99, but you have to buy an airtime card as well so a minimum of $64.99 plus taxes. Free shipping at the moment. Click to expand...
I recently purchased a Straight Talk Home Phone for my sister who lives 700 miles away. She is getting bad reception and I want to buy her an outdoor antenna. I used to be a CB'er and novice HAM radio user back in the day and remember the RG8 cables and barrel connectors, etc. but I am clueless when it comes to cell phone cables and connectors.
I'm new to Straight Talk I'm accustomed to pressing * PASSWORD (during the voice greeting) when calling my cell phone from another phone, to retrive voice mail, record greeting, etc. However using Straight Talk this doesn't work. How are voicemails and menu accessed from another phone. Very important working in an RF tight hospital buildings.
Okay everyone, I got a notice on my Straight Talk account that I need to contact customer service. So I called them today (11/18/2019) and they notified me that the Huawei H258C home phone unit on my account will become obsolete December 31, 2019. So while Verizon has extended the 3G 'sunset"...
I bought a Straight Talk home phone from Walmart. Brought it home, plugged it in, connected a land line phone and set up my voice mail. A few days later I came home to find the voice mail light blinking. I dialed *86 and entered my password, and got a recording saying I had entered an...
The Straight Talk Home Phone operates through Verizon and I pay $15 and some change for one month of service and it works well for me. Been the VOIP route and it was completely worthless in a power outage while my current cellular service works great.
Went to Walmart on Sunday (July 12, 2020) and bought the Moxee brand Straight Talk Home Phone box. First impressions: It looks identical to the ZTE Z723EL with the exception of a grid kind of thing at the top. The notification bar on the front (on/off, battery, voicemail indicator and signal bars) is almost identical as well.
