Frisco Independent School District is a public school district based in Frisco, Texas, United States. The district covers portions of Denton and Collin counties, including portions of the cities of Frisco, Little Elm , Plano , and McKinney as well as unincorporated land .
The school opened in the fall of 2003, initially to serve 9th and 10th graders. It was the second to open in the district, after Frisco High School.At the time, the school served all of the school district's area east of Preston Road as well as portions of north Plano and western McKinney.
The total minority enrollment is 59%, and 14% of students are economically disadvantaged. Heritage High School is 1 of 12 high schools in the Frisco ISD. [3] Heritage High School has an 8/10 GREATSCHOOLS rating. This school is rated above average in school quality compared to other schools in Texas. [4]
