"Chopped 'n' Skrewed" is the second single from American singer T-Pain's third album, Three Ringz. The song features American rapper Ludacris. [1] It was first released on the Canadian iTunes on September 22, 2008, the same day the song was also added to T-Pain's MySpace. It was released in the US on iTunes on September 30.

Chopped and screwed (also called screwed and chopped or slowed and throwed) is a music genre and technique of remixing music that involves slowing down the tempo and DJing. It was developed in the Houston , Texas, hip hop scene in the early 1990s by DJ Screw .
In the early 1990s, a new type of music began gaining popularity in Houston, collectively called "Chopped and screwed", which was pioneered by DJ Screw. [1] The sound was created from a turntable technique in which Screw slowed down the tempo and torqued with parts of hip-hop anthems, giving them a new hypnotic & mesmerizing sound which he believed also made the lyrics easier to understand.
There is a Swishahouse Chopped & Screwed remix of the song. The most successful version of the song was co-produced by Jason, Armand and Brittany. A remixed version titled " Jerry Sprunger " was released on 8 November 2019 by Tory Lanez and featured T-Pain.
