    Did anyone ever find a resolution to this. Seem to have a similar issue in that I cannot use my mic for any audio in chrome despite in the browser settings it being set to permit and also all windows privacy settings that i can see. Similar behaviour for external USB headset and also inbuilt laptop mic. Works perfectly in edge/IE or FF.
