Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience as an Engineer for Osceola County Fire Rescue or minimum of one (1) year paid, professional experience as a Company Officer with another Fire Department.
Coordinates projects for Osceola County Departments and Divisions from project design to project delivery. Conducts quality control activities in accordance with instructions, and inspection programs, using specified control measuring and testing equipment.
Process the intake and bond release of inmates incarcerated at Osceola County Correction Department. Reviews arrest paperwork and court documents for accuracy and completeness. Enters arrest information into the Inmate Management System; receive, execute and process warrants and ROR's.

Receive notification from staff regarding maintenance-related issues, contacts and supervises the appropriate county or city department for completion, and provide prompt response to requests. Prepare requests with specifications for the purchases of materials, supplies, and equipment.
Under direction, this position performs administrative and supervisory work for a major section within the Osceola County Planning and Zoning Division and acts as the project manager for the more technical / difficult work activities within that section.
Employee functions at a lead level and is responsible for protecting the lives and welfare of the citizens, visitors, and animals of Osceola County. Position is responsible for the apprehension of stray and trapped animals and assisting with overseeing the day-to-day road operations.
