I am going to have to agree with Matt here. I love the strider design. Feels great in the hand. The sng is by far one of the knives I loved the most. However.....I have had so many issues with lockup in every strider I have owned. The last one that I purchased was an sng in cts40cp. it developed lock rock after a few days of use.

Your best bet there is to email Josh at Strider with a pic and he'll give you the 4-1-1 on the knives. When in doubt...only purchase from a reputable dealer when possible. If the deal goes down on here and the seller/trader is trying to pass on fakes then report them to the mods for such.

The newer M. Strider knives are better quality than previous Strider stamped ones. I also own 2 Neil Blackwood customs, he's a real piece of work himself and still owes knives/money to people. I still like his knives even if he's a scumbag.
On the 882, 889, PT, SnG and SMF knives that Strider makes, the design has a double cut-out (one on the blade itself (the choil), one on the handle (where the lockbar is)) The knife can be held with the index finger in the cut-out where the the lockbar is, but this is not safe enough for heavy duty cutting.
Hi, I recently bought a large knife collection from a local guy who collected for 30 years. I am listing them on eBay and just realized from research that Strider knives have counterfeits. His collection spans the knife world from foreign tribal stuff to plenty of Benchmades. This Strider was in...
We all know about Strider's fictitious military service. Many don't want the knives due to the Stolen Valor. But what if you want a Stolen Valor collection? Enter Frank Dux. ;) His lies are legendary. The movie Bloodsport was based on the ridiculous lies about his fight training and...
