Does anyone have any other internet browsers besides firefox, safari, camino, shiira, or omniweb that are good? I have had many problems with each of these browsers and none of them fit my needs.
Hello, so I have an issue with my mac, at random times the internet browsers do not work at all. The odd thing is, it's not the internet that is the issue it's the browsers. All other online games,torrents, and other online activities work but the internet browsers return unknown errors.
The only problem I'm having is Safari or other browsers accessing web pages. When this happens my twitter desktop app, GMail notifier, iTunes and NetNewsWire don't work either, but the Mail app, Adium and other programs connect just fine.
Thanks a lot for your work, this is such a wonderful piece of software! And this isn't just a great browser for Snow Leopard, but also for newer systems like El Capitan, which doesn't have new browsers apart from Chromium Legacy, which is fine but heavier than Interweb. As far as I can tell, it works mostly fine.
Unfortunately, it looks like the '06 iMac users' only options are to update to an unsupported MacOS without GPU acceleration, install Linux (which I have done, too many problems for my liking!), or stay running unsupported browsers (edit: oh yes, there's the Windows option as well, but I really don't want to go there).
A Power Mac G5 consumes a lot of power/electricity under load… for a “lacklustre” web browsing experience: All browsers available for OS X on PPC are more or less outdated. TenFourFox development has been halted and it is outdated.
