With the whole mod totalling ~550,000 words, this is the longest DDLC mod to date. - Multiple endings for each Doki - tread lightly, as your actions have consequences. - Beautiful new CGs for all 3 Dokis, along with brand new backgrounds, weather effects and phone sprites.
I've finally finished Blue Skies 100% and gone through most of the extra information outside the mod like the unfinished Monika Route. So here's my full review for the mod. Obviously major SPOILER ALERT before you proceed. First off, I'd like to thank the wonderful writers Swampert, Kyoryii and Tiffany for their amazing writing and story telling.
Blue Skies is done well, though there are some things I personally dislike about it. However if you like it you should probably play Katawa Shoujo which is what it was actually based on. Emi (the track star girl) is actually a cameo from Katawa Shoujo, which is why she mentions her boyfriend having a heart condition.
Set yourself up a folder where you'll store your DDLC mod builds. This is more relevant if you're planning to port many mods and not just Blue Skies Download DDLC, install the mod in it and then move the lot into the folder from Step 2 Extract all assets out of the RPAs and get rpy files out of the rpyc files.

But none of those flaws detracted from the overall enjoyment. Yuri's route in Blue Skies was very pleasing and gave a proper, well made, story for Yuri. It also definitely makes me excited to play and compare to the other girls' routes. As a Yurian, and a Yuri mod creator, I can without a doubt say that BS does her character justice. Closing:
Overview: After finishing the Yuri route of Blue Skies (BS), I decided to go through Natsuki's route next. I'll start off the bat by stating that I follow the general demographic of "I like Yuri the most, I like Natsuki the least".
but coming from another sayori fan, i don't really think they should be compared as there are way better mods centered around sayori and the main appeal of blue skies and purist is the fact its route based, though if we are talking about routes specifically, purist is better because it simply has a monika route but in terms of everything else ...
at this point, a 2-hour mod demo will feel like the full mod, a 15 hour mod will fly by like a 1 hour demo, the concept of time loses meaning, and I will go cry in a corner after remembering I have played over 15 mods.... and then I will go eat an apple because why not.
The one that came up the most was Blue Skies. After playing Salvation (which I was told was very "new to the mod community friendly", which is was) I picked up Blue Skies. While I enjoyed Salvation, Blue Skies took things to a whole new level. I would like to thank everyone who gave me suggestions. Without further ado, let's get into the review ...
