The Chronicle Herald moved in 2008 to one of the buildings on the ex-Maritime Life campus in Armdale. The former Herald buildings were demolished and the site was redeveloped as the Nova Centre, which houses the Halifax Convention Centre. In 2008, the newspaper moved to a new headquarters in Armdale.
