Myrtle is a small, unincorporated community in Oregon County, Missouri, United States. [1] It lies 14 mi (23 km) southeast of Alton, 14 mi (23 km) east of Thayer and approximately 3 ⁄ 4 mi (1.2 km) north of the Arkansas state line. Linn is a city in Osage County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,350 at the 2020 census. [5] It is the county seat of Osage County. [6] Linn is part of the Jefferson City, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the census [10] of 2000, there were 13,754 people, 5,697 households and 3,760 families residing in the county. The population density was 22 people per square mile (8.5 people/km 2).
