You stated that you got your tasks from Vannaka, but it should also be noted that doing tasks for Turael does not give you points and instead resets the task count to zero (which means you need to do 5 more tasks to start accumulating points). Also, in OSRS, Krystilia's tasks have a separate counter and also require 5 tasks before points begin ...
This ability is unlocked after completing the Smoking Kills quest. The higher level the Slayer Master, the more points are received. Slayer reward points can be traded in to any slayer master for various rewards. The approximate value is 943 coins per point (based on 35 points per batch of Slayer Dart runes) https://runescape.wiki/w/Slayer ...
The Basilisk Jaw is not a slayer only drop, however, the drop is 5x rarer off-task according to Mod Ed (1/1,000 on task, 1/5,000 off task). You can unlock Basilisk tasks with Konar, Duradel, and Nieve with slayer points.
The drops impacted by the drop rate modifier can be found in the "Drops" tab of the area info pages. In general, unique drops that cannot be crafted are boosted.
The number of cannonballs you will need for this depends on your average damage per cannonball. Your average damage in turn depends on your range level, your equipment, and the monsters you are fighting. If we estimate an average damage of 200 for example it will get 20 slayer exp, then you will need about 648,040 cannonballs.
If you want something to do with a single other friend, you can partner up for slayer tasks by right-clicking an enchanted gem. Note that if the slayer master assigns a task that the other partner cannot do, he or she will not receive the task (so the player with the lower slayer/combat levels should be the one to request the task).
It honestly depends. You will need to find a monster with relatively high hit points. Find its weakness (ie; Bolts or something) and then get geared up. Attack it and if you are getting completely owned, it is not a good spot. You want to find monsters that are relatively weak. It also depends on whether or not you are a member.
If players wish to receive more runes (which are generally worth more coins) instead of bolt racks and key halves, they should aim for a Reward Potential of 880. Having exactly 880 points maximises the quantity of blood runes without having bolt racks take up reward slots. So this accounts for the max of 88%. But what about the 73%?
I started playing OSRS last week mainly due to the nostalgic factor. However I never realised before that I've never seen a player fighting with a battleaxe (in the F2P world atleast, can't say about Members worlds). Which is odd because stats-wise it would be the perfect middle-ground between scimitar and 2H swords.
But if you want to do raids, high-level PVM, PVP, etc (a giant portion of the game basically) you'd want a sub 100ms ping, ideally way less than 100ms (for OSRS at least) – Timmy Jim ♦ Commented Jun 19 at 16:32
