You have to update the Newsmax app on Roku. Newsmax: I subscribed for a year @ $49.99 on my desktop computer. I can access Plus on that, my iPads and phone. i updated Newsmax App on one Roku and was required to subscribe again. I did, for 1 year. I have 4 Roku’s and I cannot access Plus on the other 3 Roku’s. what’s up?
Whenever this happens, just watch Newsmax on the Roku Channel Live TV ch. 150. Also available on Pluto 236, Plex, and Rumble has live Newsmax. Many times the problem is device specific. Newsmax Channel/app Live TV is currently not working on my RokuTV but is working correctly on my Ultra 4660.

NewsMax not listed in news group @RokuJohnB Here you go! Again, pretty straightforward issue. As you can see in the pic I've uploaded ... The Roku 'News' filter is selected on the left of the screen but NewsMax (channel 190 on my system) is not listed??? FWIW, I have 2 different Roku streaming products and BOTH have the issue.
Re: NewsMax channel not listed in Roku Live TV news group? A channel placement on Roku in most locations is more often than not accomplished by paying to be put there. For example the "Featured Free" tab, all content there is put there based on a pay to play agreement with Roku team.
As of Nov. 1, the popular Newsmax channel will go behind a paywall due to cable agreements — and will no longer be streaming for free on services like Samsung, Roku, Vizio, LG — or on smartphones. If you search for Newsmax on your Roku device, you should see "NewsmaxTV Live" in the Results. This is the Newsmax2 (N2) channel on the Roku Channel LiveTV. Essentially, any channel/app (service) that provided Newsmax free prior to the Newsmax+ paywall switch will be streaming Newsmax2 in its place for free.
