As Tara leaves Jax's house it is shown that the recently ousted Calaveras MC leader, Hector Salazar, has been secretly stalking her and Jax. Tara considers having an abortion, as she believes Jax is not ready for another child. Gemma tries to convince Tara to wait until Jax gets back from Belfast and look into Abel's eyes before she does anything.
Jax says he will get medical supplies from Tara while Chibs, a former British Army medic, will perform the surgery to remove the bullet. Jax picks up the medical supplies from Tara's house. After he leaves, Kohn emerges from Tara's bathroom and coerces her into having sex with him.
He later stalks Tara in Charming becoming increasingly violent and unhinged. This culminates in him trying to rape Tara, who shoots him in the gut. Kohn hears them talking about him in the next room, and calls Tara a "biker whore." Jax rushes into the room and shoots Kohn in the head, killing him instantly, to Tara's horror.
Jax's ex-wife Wendy Case brings Tara a vase of flowers in the hospital, and makes known her intention to reclaim her place in the life of her son, Abel. After Wendy leaves, A furious Tara smashes the vase and breaks her cast, further injuring her wounded hand. Gemma visits the hospital and learns that Jax and Tara are planning to leave Charming.
