The Compo–Owenoke Historic District encompasses an early 20th-century summer resort beach community in Westport, Connecticut.Developed between 1910 and 1940, the Compo Beach area contains one of the largest assemblages of period resort architecture in Westport, and one of the best such collections in the region.
In 1979 Westport moved its municipal offices to a rehabilitated grade school building at 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, CT 06880. [2] The building is currently occupied by Don Memo, a Mexican restaurant, and Walrus Alley, a southern-style BBQ restaurant and bar. [3] [4] The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1]
