The Music Factory (TMF) was an originally Dutch brand of television and radio channels operated focusing on pop music. It was similar to the American MTV which took over TMF in 2002. TMF operated channels in the Netherlands (TMF Nederland) as well as in the UK with TMF UK and Australia with ( TMF Australia ).
A Fine Romance is a British sitcom starring husband-and-wife team Judi Dench and Michael Williams. The series was nominated for ten BAFTA British Academy Television Awards and was a winner of two for Dench's performances in 1982 and 1985.
The show is composed of two acts linked only by the common theme of love and one song performed in both acts. The first, The Little Comedy, is based on a short story by Arthur Schnitzler and explores the budding relationship between two people who have adopted personas other than their own.
TMF was launched as a free-to-air television channel on Freeview on 30 October 2002 to compete against EMAP's The Hits (now 4Music). It originally started as a non-stop music channel, although the network featured more programming from MTV and its other sister channels from early 2004. The channel was replaced with Viva on 26 October 2009.
