Boyd High School is a public high school located in Boyd, Texas, United States. It is part of the Boyd Independent School District located in southeastern Wise County and classified as a 3A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). In 2017, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. [3]
The Town of Boyd is served by the Boyd Independent School District. The school district includes four schools: elementary, intermediate, middle, and high schools. In 2011, the new Boyd High School was completed. It is three times the size of the former high school building, needed to accommodate a growing population.
Boyd School participates in the boys sports of baseball, basketball, football, and tennis. [4] The school participates in the girls sports of basketball, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
